PieCloudDB was initially an engineer-driven platform with minimal design focus, making it overwhelming for new users and difficult for the company to present its value proposition of "user-friendly".
Conducted content mapping and stakeholder workshops to identify critical product components.
Transitioned teams to Figma, enabling collaborative and iterative design sessions.
Focused on information hierarchy to guide users through complex workflows intuitively.
Developed low-fidelity prototypes for rapid validation, aligning product goals with user needs. Elevated the user satisfaction rate from 67% to 82%.
The first version (see "before", drag the dividine line all the way to the right) has a confusing layout with ambiguous buttons and restricted data visibility.
The updated version (see "after", drag the dividine line all the way to the left) introduced a folding-line layout for better flexibility and clarity. Added an intuitive execution history view.
